Jordan Facts & Itinerary

Jordan Trip: October 21-28 2017

The Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan Facts:

Their Motto: “God, Country, King” or translated to “Allah, Al-Waṭan, Al-Malik”

Language: Arab, English – everyone we encountered spoke English.  But it is nice to know a few basic Arabic.

Religion: Majority Muslim, Minority Christian

Currency: Dinar – JOD  or in terms of currency calculation is was 1.3 JOD to USD, Which meant it was more expensive for us.  Yep, Jordan is an expensive city.  I wasn’t surprised since I read it everywhere.   The dollar didn’t go as far as we hoped.

Flag: Black, White, Green and Red

Jordan is located on the Asian continent, Bordered by Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria and Israel/Palestine

Below is our Itinerary… Some rush through the country and go straight to Petra and see the country in about 3 days- we wanted to take our time and see most of the country.  There were still so much to explore!

I omitted the long version of this, I broke it down to the hour but that may be overkill for some people.  I posted our Itinerary because I was looking for something online and struggled to find one that suits our needs.   So hope this may help for your future trip to Jordan!
