Xi’an, China: October 20, 2010
Our hostel was close to the Muslim Quarters in Xi’an. From there we walked around town and went where our legs would take us. It was such a smoggy smoggy day. Good thing skies were clear when we went to the Great wall. But Xi’an. What’s up? why so smoggy?
After walking a bit we stumbled upon this place that served dimsum in unique shapes or should i say odd shapes? these were from their display. we ended up getting a few orders of the usual. Shanghai dumplings and some other meaty fill concoction and washed it down with some Tsingtao.
After swallowing all those dimsum we walked further into the Muslim quarters and ended up in a market where they sold everything. From food to typical tourist traps.

Nice man selling sticky rice dessert, wanted me to show all my friends this photo. So please if you ever see him tell him i showed you!
The day was all about walking around and tasting the local street food. lucky for us they proved to be good and clean. No bathroom emergencies here!
